Wamatech was founded in 1997 as an agent and distributor specializing in selling solutions to waste management and recycling.

The story of Wamatech A/S
WAMATECH A/S was established in 1997 by engineer Finn Schnoor. Based on many years with the recycling and waste company Marius Pedersen A/S Finn was technically high experienced and had a great knowledge of the waste and recycling business.
Today Wamatech is fully owned by engineer Poul Steffensen, who became part of the company in 2005. Poul Steffensen, originally a mechanic in agriculture and construction vehicles, has many years of practical experience both as a project engineer and technical manager in various companies. He has been in the waste business since 2005, and therefore his know-how of both the technical possibilities and the requirements from the customers is high.
Over the years Wamatech A/S has developed, so that today we can design and deliver turn-key plants. With more than 20 years in the business we can present layouts and solutions which exactly meet the customer’s requirements. Furthermore, we have our own stock of spare parts and our own service department, all to ensure fast delivery and best service to our customers.
We design and make projects for processing af all material for recycling, such as balers and shredders for waste, electronic waste WEEE, tires, cables, cars, etc., including the successive separating process.
Our primary markets are Denmark, the Nordic countries and Europe. 1 June 2016 Wamatech took over all activities in ARP Scandinavia.
With this takeover, our product range grew.
