Each employee is equipped with a sensor that sends a signal to a receiver established at the end of the conveyor belt. In the event that the employee falls on the conveyor belt, the conveyor belt and the machinery stop automatically as the sensor gets within range of the receiver, thus ensuring that the employee does not risk coming into contact with damaging machinery.

The employee’s sensor comes in several variants with the possibility that the employees themselves can also press the emergency stop via their sensor, in the event of a dangerous situation.
